If your uploaded images or videos aren’t already in these formats, our tool automatically crops them exactly the way Instagram does, so what you see in the preview is what your audience will actually see on your profile.
Important to know about Reels
If you upload a Reel and choose to also display it on your main profile grid, Instagram will automatically crop that Reel preview image to 4:5 for the main grid. There’s currently no option to manually edit or upload a separate 4:5 version for the grid, Instagram handles this automatically. Our preview reflects this behavior so there are no surprises after posting.
